Mario J. Cardenas Sr.

Mario J. Cardenas Sr. entered eternal rest and went home to be with the Lord. A devoted Catholic, Mario lived a life grounded in faith, family, and love. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence touched the lives of many.
Mario was preceded in death by his parents, Raul Cardenas Sr. and Esperanza Cardenas-Longoria, and brother Jaime J. Cardenas who have welcomed him into the arms of the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Cardenas; his sons, Mario J. Cardenas Jr. (Gabrielle R. Cardenas), and Albert J. Cardenas; his cherished granddaughters, Genavieve I. Cardenas and Giulianna A. Cardenas; and his adored great-grandson, Ezrin Ray Robinson.
Mario is also survived by his brothers, Raul Cardenas Jr. (Enedina Cardenas), Alfonso Cardenas (Mary Lou Cardenas), and Jaime Cardenas (Angelica Cardenas), along with numerous nephews, nieces, and grand-nephews whom he loved dearly.
Mario found joy in the simple blessings of life. He loved being outdoors, hunting, barbequing, gardening, caring for his pets, and spending meaningful time with his family. His kindness, dedication, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Though our hearts mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing Mario is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and resting in God’s eternal care.
