Gilberto Magallan Obituary (2020)

GRANJENO - Gilberto Magallan, 90, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Olga Magallan; son, Bernardo (Maricela) Magallan; and grandson, Edwardo C. Magallan. He is survived by three sons; Juan (Irene) Ozuna Magallan, Gilberto (Blanca) Magallan, Jr., and Fabian (Angela) Magallan; five daughters, Leticia (Reymundo) Salinas, Evangelina Valdez, Ida (Francisco) Anzaldua, Emma (Anibal) Maldonado, and Sonia Magallan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Alberto and Miguel; and one sister, Molly. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2020, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, TX. The funeral procession will leave on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 9:30 AM and proceed to the Granjeno Cemetery for a graveside service followed by interment.
