Mary Helen Robinson was born August 28, 1940 in Eagle Pass, Texas. She passed away in San Antonio, Texas on April 1, 2022 surrounded by her family. Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, James Baldwin Robinson, March 25, 1941 to October 10, 2011. She is survived by their three children: John L. Robinson, and his wife Elizabeth Eguía Robinson of San Antonio; David George Robinson, and his wife Maribel Maroquin Robinson of Round Rock; and Margaret Estelle Holloway of Austin; and Helen’s grandchildren: Felicia Robinson, John Andrew Robinson, Isabella Robinson, Ian Robinson, and Calvin James Holloway. Helen enjoyed working at South Texas Molding as a Bookkeeper for nearly 30 years until she retired. After retirement, she moved to San Antonio where she volunteered at Oxford United Methodist Church. She greatly enjoyed her brunch bunch, a group of women from the Church who got together to read scripture and faith-share on a weekly basis. Helen was good at embroidery, needlework, beading crafts, and nurtured her plants. She enjoyed her daily walks and greatly loved the outdoors. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren who she enjoyed visiting. Her close friends describe her as someone who, “radiated beauty, and faith…with a unique and faith-filled perspective about life and Jesus.”
